Our care recommendations are as follows:

The slate is sealed with a food safe oil. We recommend regularly reapplying oil such as olive or canola to maintain the appearance of the slate.

Slate is naturally brittle and care is to be taken when handling. Should a plate break, the pieces may be sharp.

The slate is to be hand washed with warm soapy water, allowed to drip dry and rubbed down with a food safe oil.

The slate is not dishwasher, oven or microwave safe.

Scratches and dulling can be restored by applying food safe oil.

Our products are sustainably sourced. As the slate is a natural product; the weight, colour and uniformatiy may differ from piece to piece.
